Some Rotarians never grow up and they proved it with the determination and ingenuity of their Legos® block construction.  We know for a fact that some even took their creation home!

It was great to be able to recognize so many Paul Harris Fellows, Society Members, Major Donors and Sustaining Members.  It was also wonderful to recognize recipients of new Paul Harris Fellows – Roy Adams (State College), Gloria Almquist (Ridgway), Walli Domalski, Clark Moose and Hugh Mose (all State College/Downtown) – and new Major Donor, Dr. Vijay Chowdhary (Romney).

And that was just the beginning as the fun continued.  The hearty ones stayed and danced ‘til the last note was played by Your Dad’s Friends.  We have the photos to prove it. We had a great time at this year’s District Foundation Dinner held on October 16 in State College.  The food was great, the chance to get together with our  friends from all across the district was terrific and the fact that we were able to generate over $12,000 for The Rotary Foundation made it a very worthwhile evening.

A sincere thank you to each who attended and to those who could not attend but did purchase tickets for the Rotary chairs and the Rotary Flyer Wagon.  A special thanks to Lee Warren for building and donating the solid cherry wagon.  Thank you, also, to the clubs and individuals who donated items for the silent auction. We’ve included some pictures from the evening.

Again thanks for Building the Foundation and join us when District 7350 does it again next fall.
