Rotary Grants for University Teachers |
| |
Faculty members of
any college or university in Rotary District 7350 are invited and encouraged
to apply for a three to five month Rotary Grant for University Teachers
to teach in a Rotary designated low-income country.
The
grant is in the amount of $13,000, and may be used at the discretion
of the recipient for living expenses, transportation to and from the
host country, teaching and research costs, and miscellaneous ambassadorial
expenses.
The
purpose of the program is to promote international understanding and
development through advanced education in developing countries. The
program also aims to establish ties between educational institutions,
leading to an exchange of ideas and information across the globe. Applications for 2009-2010 are closed but additional information
